Is 55, 10-11;
Sal 33;
Mt 6, 7-15
Word and prayer. Gift from God. Is not it a gift from God that we can hear his word? Is not it a gift that we can address Him with the confidence of children and rejoice in his presence and his love?
Perhaps it would seem that it is not necessary to say more. Our words fall short of the immensity of His Word. And God gives us. God approaches us and wants to speak. And His Word will always be a word of love and life. A word of love because he always is showing us all that God is love. A word of life because it always produces in us.
us what the prophet said. A word that penetrates us and transforms us. A word that comes to us and fills us with life. The prophet speaks in images that are rich content in its simplicity. As rain soaks us, like the rain that fertilizes the soil and sprout new plants it vibrant and exciting with beautiful flowers and delicious fruits.
'As the rain fall and snow from heaven and do not return, but after soaking the soil, fertilize it and make it sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so my word that comes out of my mouth ... '
But it must be rain that let us soak, seed we plant in our hearts, carefully cultivate plant. Is welcome in our hearts and our lives we have to make the word. Listening, in our hearts we become good ground, the chewing reflect and ruminate over and over again in our hearts to get all the juice, to enrich us with his life, to let ourselves be transformed by the salvation He offers us.
And we hear that word leads to another gift of God is prayer. Well, we mean that it is prayer that hearing the word, because it is listening to God, to enter into dialogue with God. And so it has to be our prayer. Jesus tells us how not to do and gives us a template of what we have to take into account where we come to God.
tells us that not walk ' with many words like the pagans who imagine that they'll ignore a lot about' but gives guidelines of simplicity and the love with which we must be closer to God enjoy your love of the Father, to rejoice in his presence and whether arising out of all our lives the best praise, to feel committed to him, in his work in his kingdom, in love, in this new world, new relationships we must learn to do.
Over there we must always start enjoying and Rejoicing in the depths of the heart to be able to call God Father. He calls us children, has made us children. When Jesus was in the Jordan the voice of God calling him Son - 'Thou art my beloved Son, my beloved' - went into the wilderness for forty days to keep listening to your heart and soul saboreandoi in that sweet voice God was his Father. And we say it so fast that the honey passes through our lips and not finish to take her taste.
is a gift from God that we can address Him and praise Him and seek His will, and want to do His Kingdom. 'Hallowed be thy name', we say. Never has the name of God on our lips to take it in vain, but the speed and unconscious with no mention that could resemble that. Be aware of each word. If you do not say it only once for the joy we feel in the soul and makes us a foretaste of glory and happiness of heaven, we're saying is right. When you taste our encounter with the Lord in prayer we are not tired forever ago the prayer time, but our time will become eternity of bliss and happiness that we would not ever leave.
enjoyment of these two gifts from God: Word and prayer. No need to say anything else.
